We introduced a dedicated Inspect mode in the Components tab of the Design Studio to make it easier for marketers and content authors to explore, test, and understand.
This new design, that separates inspection and creation workflows also reduces friction by removing the need to open the Studio just to preview or test a variant, while keeping creation and editing capabilities clearly separated:
In Inspect mode, you can preview and interact with a component variant. Inspect mode supports a true component library experience, where you can browse components, understand their context, and inspect variants end to end without switching tools.

Authors can now open child items directly in Content mode from within Page builder. This makes it faster to jump into content editing without switching context.
A new Details section is now displayed at the top of the content view, making key item information easier to find and more consistent across items.
These issues have been resolved to improve the editing experience in Page builder:
Alt text entered in Page builder now correctly preserves the & character when saved, ensuring the rendered HTML matches what authors enter.
Creating or switching versions no longer reloads the page and jumps to the top. Page builder now preserves scroll position and editing context so authors can continue working where they left off.

We’ve improved search accuracy for HTML string properties. HTML tags are now automatically removed from these properties before they’re indexed, so only the visible text is searchable. This change helps ensure that long HTML markup won’t prevent your content from appearing in advanced search results. The full HTML is still stored for rendering and audit, but searches will now match only the readable text, making it easier to find what you need.

Improvement to synchronization of CMP entities
In the integrated Sitecore Connect for Content Hub connector, the synchronization of CMP entities has been made more resilient. The improvement has been achieved by altering the management of the client’s lifecycle and by adding additional retry and throttling handling for common network transient errors.
Reduced memory consumption by interning strings and IDs from resource files
Strings and IDs from Item as Resource files have been added to interned dictionaries to reduce duplicate strings and IDs, including those read from SQL storage. This improvement results in reduced memory consumption.
Enhancement to logging in the MemoryLimitCachePurgeAgent task
The logging level in SitecoreAI's MemoryLimitCachePurgeAgent scheduled task has been increased from DEBUG to INFO. This improvement makes it easier to detect potential cache size issues.
Tracking of Solr behavior
Functionality has been added to allow further investigation of Solr performance and behavior issues on the SitecoreAI backend.
The latest release of the SitecoreAI base image 1.7.5 includes the following resolved issues:
Fixed a defect in the Content Editor where a NullReferenceException was being thrown when an item with a Multiroot Treelist field had a datasource that does not contain a tokenized query.
Resolved incorrect logging of publishing errors when no entities had failed. Now errors are only logged when failures occur.
Added a deadline timeout to every unary gRPC call to prevent potential stalling of publishing process.
Ensured item statistics are sent to Publishing API even when no items are published.
Fixed intermittent race condition in publishing process that caused NullReferenceException by improving thread safety checks.
Resolved issue where validation errors for datasource items in the Page builder were not displaying the field name when using language fallback.
Fixed defect where StandardValues field value was not being updated when the serialization push command is used for the first time.
Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE) 8.0 is being upgraded to 8.0, and any PowerShell script that is not compatible with the later version may stop functioning after the upgrade.
The SPE upgrade has also resulted in the SitecoreAI base image release version being increased to 1.7.5.
Release timeline for SPE update:
14 April 2026 – SitecoreAI base image released and automatic update for non‑production environments.
22 April 2026 – Automatic update for production environments.
Optional early update for production
Customers who wish to benefit from the update earlier may manually update their production CM instance by performing a deployment activity as soon as the new base image is released.

SitecoreAI introduces Profiles, a new addition to the Audience and insights capability that lets you explore and act on site visitor data directly from within SitecoreAI.
Profiles list - view your most recent site visitors, and filter or search for the profile you're interested in.

The repeated use of identical IDs within AccessResultCacheKey.longIdIndexParameters values, such as the Sitecore Root ID, was causing significant memory overhead and inflated cache sizes. By adding support for interning repeated values in longIdIndexParameters, memory consumption and overall cache footprint have been reduced.
Improved performance of CMP relation processors in the Content Hub import pipeline
The integrated Sitecore Connect for Content Hub connector now synchronizes CMP entities (content items managed in Content Hub, including their associated metadata and relationships) more efficiently. The latest release of the SitecoreAI base image 1.6.1483 includes the following resolved issues:
Reverting the change that fixed the issue where publishing a partial design datasource triggered an unnecessary publish of all pages using this partial design when Publishing V2 is enabled. An edge case was identified impacting certain customers that must be resolved before this becomes the default behavior. A temporary setting was introduced for customers unaffected by the edge case who may wish to opt in to this behavior. This setting should be applied only on recommendation from Sitecore as it will be removed again in the future when the new default behavior is permanently applied.
Removed unnecessary processing of templates and standard values in order to reduce time it takes to save a content item that is referenced by a large number of other items.
Datasource workflow actions now work correctly when a content item references itself as a datasource of a rendering.

We’ve updated several Marketer MCP tool names to meet MCP client limits (60-character max). This is a breaking change and any existing references to previous tool names will no longer work and must be updated.
Previously, longer names could be filtered out or rejected by MCP clients like Cursor, which could cause errors when referencing those tool names directly in prompts.
These updates ensure tools remain visible and can be reliably called by name across MCP environments.

Invisible reCAPTCHA in Sitecore Forms now runs only when the form is submitted instead of on initial page load. This prevents tokens from expiring while users complete longer forms. To apply the fix, re‑save any forms that use invisible reCAPTCHA.
Marketer MCP introduces new brand kit and brief management tools that enable marketers to create campaign briefs through a guided conversational flow using natural language. Describe the campaign or initiative you want to create, and Marketer MCP helps guide you through the process.
Because these capabilities are exposed through the Marketer MCP, any AI agent or LLM connected to this MCP can use these tools to create and refine campaign briefs.
Key capabilities
Identify the appropriate brand kit based on the campaign request.
Generate a structured brief using a selected brief type from SitecoreAI's brief management tool.
Refine the brief through conversation, updating objectives, messaging, audience, creative requirements, or other brief details.
Save the approved brief as a draft for further editing and review within SitecoreAI's brief management tool.
These tools combine brand kit selection, AI-generated brief creation, conversational refinement, and draft management in a single workflow. This helps teams move from idea to campaign-ready briefs faster while maintaining brand consistency.

In order to improve reliability and performance, all Message Senders must now be used in combination with a Delivery Config. Values that were previously defined directly on the Message Sender must now be specified within a DeliveryConfig that uses one of the following delivery targets:
Mailchimp
MessageSender
The following model changes will be applied to the Message Sender model:
URL has been removed from the Message Sender model
SharedKey has been removed from the Message Sender model
DeliveryConfigID is now required from the Message Sender model
The DeliveryConfig target has been renamed to Mailchimp from Mandrill
All existing MessageSenders have been migrated to use this new configuration, no action is needed. If you maintain any automated process that creates Message Senders, you must update those processes accordingly.

Developers of full-stack Marketplace apps can now integrate the Sitecore Marketer MCP, which turns natural language prompts into real, executable marketing actions grounded in Sitecore content.
What you can build
For example, you can develop a chat interface where marketers can interact with an LLM. When the marketer sends a prompt, the LLM can call the tools available in the Marketer MCP, such as create_page and update_content. This enables marketers to use natural language to create pages, update content, manage components and assets, create personalization variants, and more.
How to integrate the Marketer MCP
Ensure you have a full-stack Marketplace app with custom authorization so your app can make server-side API requests to the Marketer MCP.
Check that your app has access to the SitecoreAI APIs.
When adding the Marketer MCP functionality, send a bearer token and a Context ID in the request header of every chat message from the client to the server. This ensures that when the Marketer MCP client receives the required headers on the server, the MCP tools can be securely invoked.

The item path for the current page is now shown in the Details section of the Page Settings panel. Editors can quickly copy the path and use it in internal tools without opening Content Editor.

Components whose datasources were renamed or deleted can now be removed directly from the page layout. This removes the need to leave Page builder to clean up the Presentation Details in Content Editor.
Pages now keeps valid empty <span> elements when saving RTE content, while still cleaning up invalid markup. This prevents unintended style changes when opening content in Page builder.
Relative URLs in inline CSS are now resolved against the CM host (the base URL of the Content Management (CM) instance in a given environment) instead of the editing host. This ensures media and other resources load correctly in the Page builder UI.
Page preview URLs no longer include the sc_version parameter for legacy JSS. This avoids confusion and accurately reflects preview behavior, which always shows the latest version for the selected path.

Improved signals - Signals now provide more detailed insights instead of brief summaries, making insights easier to review and act on. Each signal links to its full source chat for traceability and can be reused as context in follow-up prompts to support more consistent iteration.
Enhanced chat experience - Actions has been renamed Chat, with a simplified interface and a history pane that makes it easier to revisit previous conversations. Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + Enter on Windows, Cmd + Enter on Mac) help submit prompts more efficiently, and any conversation can now be converted into a dedicated space for continued collaboration.
Grounded context integrations - Chat can now use additional context sources to support more informed responses. These include Sitecore Documentation for documentation-based answers, Marketer MCP with tool-calling support for SitecoreAI workflows, and brand kit selection to help generate on-brand content.
Built-in tools in chat - Chat now includes built-in tools that allow you to generate images, save content such as articles and briefs as versioned artifacts, perform web searches, and take actions directly in SitecoreAI.
