Setting added to PortalConfiguration to protect against unsafe content in a comment field

We’ve introduced a new security enhancement for comment fields to protect against HTML injection and unauthorized data exfiltration, even when content is submitted via direct API calls. You can now enable the optional CommentHtmlSanitization setting to strictly control which HTML tags, attributes, and CSS properties are allowed in user-generated comments. This improvement allows you to define a safe allowlist for styles and filter image URLs to trusted hosts, ensuring your environment remains secure while maintaining essential formatting.

Infrastructure network improvements for greater resilience and performance

We’ve improved Content Hub’s main database network infrastructure to strengthen connectivity, service resilience, and performance across the platform.

The heavier and more resource-intensive the operation on a database level, the more noticeable these performance improvements will be. For example, graph rebuilds, which are one of Content Hub’s most demanding operations, have shown reductions in completion time of up to 50% following these changes.

Actual performance gains vary by operation, environment, and workload.

Improved URL handling for open tabs

URLs now retain the currently open tab, so links to the tab can be moved from one environment to another, such as from QA to Production.

Setting added to collapse and expand the rich-text editor toolbar

We’ve added a new ContentGroups setting that lets you simplify the text editor. Set collapsible_toolbar to true to add the ability to collapse or expand the rich-text editor toolbar.

Guarded transition operations added to the Selection component

We’ve improved the Selection component by adding support for guarded state flow transitions. You can now perform mass actions—such as approving, rejecting, or overriding—on multiple entities simultaneously, provided you have the necessary permissions. This update ensures a more consistent experience across entity operations and search results, helping you manage complex workflows more efficiently.
