New features

In the left-hand pane of the Pages Editor, you can now search for a specific page in the site tree or a specific component from the components list by entering at least three characters in the Search field. For pages, you can filter search results in the site tree to only include either folders or pages. For components, the results include specific components or entire collections for which the name matches the term typed in the Search field.

On the Templates tab, you can now move a partial design, a page design, or a folder to a different location within its respective overview.

Improvements

When you collapse component accordions in the components list, they will remain collapsed when the page is reloaded.

Workflow validation can be configured at the page level but also at the content item level on a page. When a validation error is prohibiting the user from moving a page through the workflow, error messages are displayed for the page, the page content, and single content items, so you can easily find and edit the field causing the error.

Fixed Issues

We fixed an issue where sites present in the XM Cloud Dashboard were not available in the drop-down in Pages.

When you added a new component before or after an existing component in the canvas, the "Item has been modified" warning started appearing on all subsequent operations on the page. This notification now only shows when content items have been changed outside of the loaded page.

Changing an external link to an internal or media link was not working as expected, it has now been fixed so all changes are immediately applied.

Users with permission to delete content items but not page items could remove newly added components but not pre-existing components on a page. Now, these users can always remove components from a page, but they are still not allowed to delete the page itself.
