We have optimized our web crawling system to improve efficiency and indexing speed. Web crawlers that use sitemap triggers will now crawl URLs added or modified since the last successful run, based on the sitemap&apos;s <code>lastmod</code> date.This improvement provides the following benefits:<ul><li>Quick updates - receive up-to-date search results and easily identify content changes.</li><li>Faster indexing - the crawler only includes URLs modified after the previous successful run, reducing the number of indexed items and speeding up the indexing process.</li><li>Manual control - you can now trigger a full crawl from the Sitecore Search interface whenever you want.</li><li>Predictable full crawls - URLs without a <code>lastmod</code> date are still crawled during periodic full crawls, ensuring no updates are missed.</li></ul>

The latest XM Cloud base image (1.6.800) went live with the following improvements and fixes: Improvements<ul><li>To avoid bucket structure issues, the Page Data folder item and Root item for Link List templates now have Lock child relationship turned on by default. </li><li>To improve your site performance, the Content Editor now highlights whether a redirect map exceeds 200 URL redirections. This does not prevent you from saving, but displays a warning message in the interface: Limit the redirect map to 200 or fewer URL redirections.</li><li>XM Cloud now accepts emails that contain a plus sign (+) in the local part (such as ellie.spencer+01@email.com) when inviting new users. </li></ul>Fixes <ul><li>When creating custom components by cloning Column or Row Splitter components, the class names for Columns/Rows in the layout service response are now displayed correctly. Previously, they appeared as GUIDs.</li><li>The Preview GraphQL endpoint now successfully retrieves a custom 404 error page even if it doesn’t have a version in the site’s default language. </li><li>You can now publish the root of a site that has a redirect item, even if that item has the Hide Version option enabled or is not in a final workflow state. Previously, publishing would fail in such cases. </li><li>Permissions are now correctly applied to the sites dashboard and REST APIs. Previously, if a user was denied read access to a site host, the dashboard didn’t load and no sites were displayed. </li><li>Datasource fields with a <code>local:/</code> path are now updated correctly after you remove or relink their item.</li><li>When using a custom link provider, settings such as <code>UseDisplayName</code> are now applied when generating page routes. You&apos;ll need to republish your sites to apply these settings.</li></ul>
