We’re excited to announce the release of an experimental new publishing process that includes performance improvements for incremental publishing. With this process enabled for an environment, whenever you update a small number of content items on a site with a lot of content and language fallbacks, publishing is much faster, shortening what previously lasted several hours to less than 30 seconds. The user interface hasn’t changed – only the underlying process. You can try out the new publishing process now, but you can revert to the previous version at any time.Before you get started, consider the following:<ul><li>As this is a new feature, always check your published links for consistency and to make sure they still work as expected.</li><li>We are evaluating improvements to the language fallback functionality. If you are using this feature and you notice any undesired behavior or performance issues, please report your findings to us.</li></ul>To enable publishing v.2:<ol><li>In the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://deploy.sitecorecloud.io/">Deploy app</a>, create an environment variable named <code>Sitecore_ExperienceEdge_dot_WorkerStoreEnabled</code> and set it to <code>TRUE</code>.</li><li>Deploy the environment for which you want to enable the new publishing process.</li><li>When the deployment is complete, republish the sites by, for example, clicking Publish all sites on the Sites tab in the Deploy app. You only need to fully republish once to enable the new publisher.</li></ol>To revert to the older publishing process: <ol><li>In the Deploy app, set the <code>Sitecore_ExperienceEdge_dot_WorkerStoreEnabled</code> variable to <code>FALSE</code>.</li><li>Redeploy the environment. </li><li>Republish the sites. </li></ol>

Create and apply styles to your formsYou can now <a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" class="Hyperlink SCXW98194124 BCX0" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/create-a-style.html">create</a> styles using either the Forms visual builder or the CSS editor, then <a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" class="Hyperlink SCXW98194124 BCX0" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/apply-a-style.html">apply</a> one to a form with a single click. This way, you can ensure that all your forms are on-brand. Add a File upload item to a formWhen building a form, you can now add the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/configure-field-items.html">File upload</a> item. This new field item lets users of the published form upload their own files.  You can then configure the File upload field with the following restrictions: <ul><li>Which file formats users can upload. </li><li>The maximum number of files a user can upload.  </li><li>The maximum size of individual files, and of all files within a single upload. </li></ul>

Introducing styling and file uploads in XM Cloud Forms 

We&apos;ve released a new version of the Sitecore Cloud SDK so you can more easily add the power of CDP and Personalize to your XM Cloud site.<ul><li><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/developers/sdk/003/cloud-sdk/sitecore-cloud-sdk-for-javascript.html">Version 0.3</a> includes simplified objects and consistent function signatures for capturing events and running personalization.</li><li>Along with this release, we&apos;ve also restructured the documentation site to support two versions of the Cloud SDK: 0.3 (the default, latest version), and 0.2.</li><li>You can access the latest documentation for the Cloud SDK by clicking Developers &gt; Cloud SDK 0.3 in the menu bar. Then, if you want to view documentation for version 0.2 instead, use the version menu in the top-right corner.</li></ul>

When you open Pages for an environment that does not already have at least one site, a message now invites you to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/create-websites.html">create one</a>. This release also fixes the following issues: <ul><li>In Content Editor, <a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" class="Hyperlink SCXW33853687 BCX0" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/developers/xm-cloud/configure-the-image-tag-attribute-mapping-in-sitecore.html%22%20/o%20%22https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/developers/xm-cloud/configure-the-image-tag-attribute-mapping-in-sitecore.html">changes made to a custom attribute mapping for a DAM image</a> are now displayed as expected in Pages. </li><li>Switching between <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://doc.sitecore.com/xmc/en/users/xm-cloud/edit-the-layout-of-an-item.html">final and shared</a> layouts now works as intended for all users. </li></ul>
