Our new rich text editor, available within Rich Text components in Pages, offers several new features, including the ability to add tables, find and replace text, and style images in a variety of new ways.
You can enable this editor on XM Cloud environments using JSS version 21.5.2 and later by adding PAGES_ENABLE_NEW_RTE_EDITOR as an environment variable in the Deploy app. Environments with older JSS versions will need to be upgraded first.
Fixed issues
On environments using the legacy text editor, adding a page component containing rich text with “br” tags in the HTML no longer causes the page to stop working.
In Pages Personalize, the unintended ability to personalize the original page has been removed.
Overviews for design folders, partial designs, and page designs will now only show the appropriate file types.
