Common Audit Log interface now available in Sitecore Cloud Portal

The Common Audit Log contains a list of logged activities for your Sitecore Cloud Portal and associated applications. Previously, data from the Common Audit Log was only accessible using an API, but now you can also directly view, sort, and filter logged events directly within the Cloud Portal interface. This makes it easier for everyone to locate event logs based on specific criteria.

After logging in, get started by clicking Admin and then selecting the Audit logs tab. Next, choose a product from the first drop-down list. All customers will initially have access to logs for Cloud Portal, as well as support login events. More activity types and products will be added to the interface over time.

If the chosen product has multiple tenants, you’ll be able to select the one you need from the second drop-down list. For Cloud Portal, this step is not required. Information about deleted tenants is retained for compliance reasons, and these tenants are clearly marked as deleted in the drop-down list. 

After you make your selections, the Audit logs list refreshes to display relevant information. You can further refine the list by entering a search term in the field provided. You can also sort the list in ascending or descending order by clicking any of its column headers. 

To view more information about any entry in the list, click the corresponding View Details button. This opens a dialog containing extra details, and you can close the dialog when you have what you need.
