This functionality has not been released yet.
Starting on December 15, 2026, requests to the Sitecore Search and Recommendation API and Events API endpoints in the US and APSE2 regions must include a valid API key or access token in the Authorization header. Authorization is already required in the EUC1 region.
What should I do?
Review your API integrations and verify that requests include a valid API key or access token in the Authorization header.
Update any unauthenticated requests before December 15, 2026.
After December 15, requests without proper authorization will be rejected and return HTTP 401 Unauthorized.
