Generate and optimize written content for your website’s pages with Stream

In XM Cloud page builder, you can now create or transform the content of your components with AI, then make data-driven content decisions by A/B/n testing the original content against the optimized version.

  • In the Optimize pane, you can either write a manual prompt or select a quick action to use a suggested prompt. You can do this for individual text fields, or you can quickly optimize all of these fields in a component at the same time. You can apply multiple prompts per optimization, and compare the optimized text to the original text before you accept it.

  • If you select an empty text field, you can write a prompt to quickly draft text that you can modify to suit your needs.

  • If you want to test the optimized content against the original version to make a data-driven decision about which one to use, simply click the A/B/n test button, name your test, and finish configuring your test requirements. When your test has collected sufficient data, you can confidently apply the winning content to your page.

  • You can also use the text optimization capability when you personalize text for a specific audience in the Personalize mode.

As a Stream premium user, if you’ve built any brand kits in Stream, you can associate each of your sites with a specific brand kit within the site settings. After doing this, when you use content optimization in the page builder, it will not only optimize the selected content according to the prompts you give, but also make sure that the suggestions it makes adhere to your brand’s context, rules, and tone of voice.

Note: AI content optimization is currently only available to Stream premium customers, and requires the newer CKEditor rich text editor enabled in XM Cloud. A/B/n testing requires JSS version 22.1 or later.
