Search experiences in SitecoreAI now support push sources, a new source type for content that cannot be crawled or ingested from the Content editor.
Push sources are designed for content managed outside SitecoreAI. You can use the Ingestion Service API to submit documents directly to a push source, giving you control over what content is indexed and when updates become available.
You can use push sources to:
Index content from external systems such as product catalogs, knowledge bases, and custom applications.
Keep search indexes synchronized with an external data source.
Index content that can’t be crawled.
Enable API-driven indexing workflows.
Push sources provide a dedicated way to manage externally maintained content and make it available across SitecoreAI search experiences.
