We’ve made the interface for Date and Datetime fields in the Page builder consistent with the Content Editor, ensuring a unified experience across XM Cloud.

The update includes:

  • Consistent look and feel for Date and Datetime fields across all relevant UI components, including left- and right-hand panels, as well as field handlers.

  • Date and Datetime values are now saved as UTC and are displayed in the server timezone, just like in the Content Editor.

  • The tooltips now clearly state that dates are shown in the server timezone while providing information about data storage in UTC.

  • The UTC label for Date and Datetime values has been removed to reflect these changes.

  • A new "Details" accordion is available next to the date display. When expanded, it explicitly lists the local, server, and UTC times. If the server time differs from UTC, this is clearly indicated. The accordion also provides a link to relevant documentation.

The latest release of the Page builder also includes the following improvements:

  • When you change an item’s name, a new toast notification reminds you to publish the changed item (including related items) so that all links are up to date.

  • You can now create a standard folder under an item that has no insert options configured.

  • We improved the inline text AI optimization experience for flows such as A/B/n testing, including clear options to revert to the original text or keep the optimized version and close the flow. We also added success toast notifications for when a new A/B/n test is created for a component.

This release also includes the following solved issues:

  • The internal link Path value is now correctly saved across all context and non-context languages.

  • The Link text field is now displayed correctly after you clear and re-add values for internal General Link fields.

  • The page load indicator now remains visible until all page content and editing elements are fully loaded.

  • Pasting text into a single-line text field no longer clears existing content unless you deliberately replace it.
