Sitecore has introduced an official support lifecycle for SDKs used with XM Cloud. The Content SDK 1.X is now the actively supported and recommended SDK, marking a strategic shift away from JSS SDKs. While Content SDK is in Active Support state, JSS support for XM Cloud is being phased out. This lifecycle framework helps teams plan upgrades and ensures continuity as Sitecore advances its composable and agentic platform vision.
