You can now use the Unique and Universal assignment methods in Sitecore Personalize for classic A/B/n experiments. These methods improve the flexibility and control over guest assignments, leading to more effective experiment outcomes.
The Unique assignment method is a quick and easy way to automatically assign guests to variants, making it especially useful when running multiple tests simultaneously. It ensures that guests are randomly assigned to variants regardless of their assignments in other experiments. With the Unique method, experiment traffic is allocated based on percentage values that you assign to each of the variants.
The Universal assignment method offers a more controlled and precise way of assigning guests to variants, making it ideal when running parallel tests on the same audience, or creating exclusivity between experiments. With the Universal method, experiment traffic is allocated using buckets numbered between 1-120, and each variant is assigned a ranged portion of those buckets, such as 1-20, 21-50, and 51-120. This ensures each guest receives the same assignment in every experiment that utilizes this method.
